I can’t resist getting up early for sunrise:
but sunrise is still at like 430am, so I definitely went back to bed after snapping this 🙂
Today’s main task is repacking:
We each brought one carry on and a backpack as our personal item; I did bring a packable backpack in case we bought too much stuff and had to check a bag but I’m really good at packing and made it all fit- go me!
Lunch today included an entire cake station:
As we entered this area:
A boat pulled up alongside us:
and a pilot joined our ship to help navigate us:
I’m pretty sure that lighthouse is pushing a barge…
There are shows and other entertainment on our ship, but we aren’t really into that, so we went for a walk:
It’s a bit hard to see, but that barge is carrying a semi truck and a digger:
We’re on a boat!
On the way back to our room, I noticed that they had opened up the bow again, so we hung out there for a while:
I debated bringing my camera on our walk but decided against it. Poor choice- we saw a whale! So I ran back to the room to get it. Spotted a porpoise playing in the waves off our bow but couldn’t get a shot 🙁
We made it partway through the straight:

One last night at sea:
