We woke up this morning to howling winds and blowing snow- it wasn’t really accumulating, but it was so windy the snow was blowing sideways! Pictures (especially quick cellphone snaps) never really do blustery weather justice:
Driving through the wind yesterday was not fun and with snow added to the mix… we decided to make today a lazy day and just stay in. We had a Netflix marathon:
Raided our road-food stash and had a picnic:
And ventured out later in the evening to find “real” food (chicken tikka masala and a mango cheesecake for me, chicken carbonara for Matt):
All in all, not our most productive vacation day ever, but it looks like most of the storms should blow themselves out overnight so fingers crossed that tomorrow is better for exploring!
