On our last day, we had a 12+ hour layover in Quito, so we drove over to Intiñan, the Middle of the Earth museum:
Balancing an egg on the head of a nail:
Supposedly, since we’re on the equator, the gravitational pull when you’re standing on the line is equal so the egg should stand up.
I could have sworn I had a picture of me balancing my egg, but I can’t find it so here’s me, Heather and Connie with the certificates they gave us, proving we balanced the egg!
