We didn’t really have a plan for our time in Jacksonville- mostly just hang out with Brent and take him and his family to dinner as a ‘thanks for letting us stay with you’. His wife was working nights this week, so we opted to get out of the house for a bit and grabbed lunch at Beachside:
Seriously tasty fish taco wraps, though Matt’s swordfish was kind of dry. I filled up on gator bite appetizers so brought most of my wrap and this slice of chocolate-dipped key lime pie home:
The fact that they put it in an ice-filled bag to keep it frozen amused me 🙂
We decided to have a low-key day, hanging at Brent’s house, swimming in the pool and just hanging out. A nice relaxing end to our trip.
