Today, we decided to hunt lighthouses. The first one was on a base and Matt wasn’t entirely ok with that.
Pensacola Lighthouse:
A self-stand!!! (we totally used it)

Awesome staircase:
A Matt-sized window:
View from the top of the lighthouse:
Us on top of the lighthouse!
Found the Blue Angels! (and really wish I had brought the big camera up with me!)
We kept driving along the coast and found Cape San Blas Lighthouse:
Never seen a lighthouse built like this before!

The keeper just gave us the key and we let ourselves in:
Found a cool moth inside!
Don’t look down?
Helpful sign:
And the stairs just get more and more narrow!
At the top! (pretty sure that’s a selfie stand as well, but I wasn’t going to use it!)
Shadow of the lighthouse- you can still see the damage to the building from when Hurricane Michael came through:
Next stop- Cape St. George Lighthouse:
We got there like an hour too late to climb it (totally forgot about the time zone change, plus the road was way slower than anticipated, oops):
Another stellar slogan:
Driving along the coast:
Crooked River Lighthouse:
Love the lines!
